Maybe you're a 12 year old beginner? Maybe your child or grandchild is taking dance classes and you'd like to stay one step ahead? Maybe you're an athlete and you've heard that ballet classes provide great cross-training in the off-season? Maybe you need to improve your posture? Maybe you've been dancing for a while but have neer taken ballet, and think it would be helpful? Maybe you already take ballet but need to brush up on the basics to move up a level? Maybe a more solid technical foundation is all you need to land that lead role in "Wicked" or "Billy Elliot"? OR, maybe your favourite primetime dance show has simply piqued your curiosity?
Whatever the reason, these introductory level technique classes are open to anyone at least 13 years old who would like to learn about basic ballet technique.
These lessons will be both theoretical and practical. Review and practice at home is a good idea - bring a notebook!
