*Students are encouraged to attend Ballet E on both days, and ideally they will also attend a weekly Ballet D class.

POINTE 1
FULL YEAR PROGRAM - Wed 6:45 & Sat 12:15    FULL
TO REGISTER FOR POINTE 1 STUDENTS MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OR POINTE TEACHER, AND MUST BE: 
- at least 10 or 11 years old
- attending at least two regular ballet technique classes per week, including the ballet technique class immediately preceding the pointe class  
*All Pointe 1 students begin their pointe training on demi-pointe (ie. in their regular ballet slippers) and the ballet/pointe teacher will inform them when they may begin to wear pointe shoes in the classes.

POINTE 2
FULL YEAR PROGRAM - Tue 7:20 & Sat 2:10
In order to register for Pointe 2, students must have permission from the Artistic Director or Pointe Teacher, and students must:
- be proficient at maintaining proper body alignment and posture
- have achieved sufficient mastery of Pointe 1 material
- have the anatomical strength and flexibility in their feet that allows pointework to be performed properly and safely 
- be able to show and hold a very strong relevé on one foot without the barre

POINTE 3
FULL YEAR PROGRAM
Students who have achieved sufficient mastery of Pointe 2 material may be permitted to take Ballet D or Ballet E classes entirely en pointe.

Felicità 
FULL YEAR PROGRAM - Saturday 2:30-4:00
Serious and committed students who would like to join Port City Dance Academy’s performing ensemble must be at least 10 years old. In addition to Saturday rehearsals Junior Members must attend regular technique classes at least two days a week, Intermediate Members at least three days a week, and Senior Members at least four days a week. 

Intensive Program
PCDA’s Intensive Program provides guidance, information and personalized training for pre-professional students. Any students who are interested in intensive, pre-professional training should arrange to meet with PCDA Artistic Director and/or senior artistic staff to discuss goals, schedule, etc.
