DRESS-CODE

WHAT TO WEAR?

MUSIC & MOVEMENT - Girls & boys

Any clothing that is easy to move around in is fine for these classes. Traditional dancewear is optional, but many of our M&M students do seem to love a dancing outfit!

BALLET A & BALLET B - Girls

Pink ballet tights or plain white ankle socks.

Periwinkle-blue bodysuit (pale blue is also okay)

we recommend Ansliewear Body Suit AW101 or 102

Pink ballet slippers.

Long hair should be worn back in a bun.

Short hair should be held back with a soft hairband or clips.

BALLET A & BALLET B - Boys

Navy, grey, or black tights (shorts or gym pants that are not too loose are acceptable).

Plain white or black dance T-shirt.

White socks with white ballet slippers or black socks with black ballet slippers.

BALLET C / D / E - Girls

Pink ballet tights.

Periwinkle-blue bodysuit.

MODERN - Girls

Plain leotard (periwinkle blue or black preferred) with black tights or unitard.

Long hair in ponytail or bun, short hair with soft hairband.

Bare feet, socks, or ballet shoes.

MODERN - Boys

Unitard, or tights and T-shirt.

Bare feet, socks, or ballet shoes.

CONTEMPORARY BALLET & CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Same as for ballet, with footless tights or no tights.

Dance shorts are fine for these classes.

ADULT DANCE CLASSES

Adults are welcome to wear traditional dancewear, exercise clothes, or anything easy to move around in. Ballet shoes or thick socks are necessary for ballet classes.
